A new Grindr update (version 1.0.5) is available via the App Store. I highly suggest installing the update. Among some basic bug fixes, the new version improves battery consumption, re-enables auto caps, improves speed and responsiveness of the main screen view, and optimizes the access speeds for Edge users. It also gives users a nifty new start-up screen (pictured here).
